Oh Boy! Getting into Public Racing to Increase my Ratings!

It is time for me to start taking my chance and do some official races with the public in order to get better for the more important races. I ran a couple races when I first started iRacing back in April but quickly got discouraged by how made other drivers can be and ruin your race. When you do poorly in a race, regardless of why, you can lose iRating and Safety Rating. After running Le Mans in the Ford GTE recently for the ROUSH Performance World Tour I felt confident in my own ability to make it through an hour long race with the public. I did three races on the day, in the first race I started P5 and finished P5. The third race I got wrecked by people a couple times but managed to finish 10th and gained positive iRating and Safety Rating. I put this video of the second race together from the saved replay within iRacing and added some useful overlays to help you follow along a bit better. This race was pretty clean and has some good battles. I started P4, now you have to watch to see where I land on the podium!
